Cleaning PCBs or assembled circuit boards entails removing flux residue from circuit boards, hybrids and PCBs.
Although
“no clean” production has proved widely successful in low-end
production, cleaning is essential for high-end assemblies in particular.
Years
of experience have gone into developing the complete range of products
we offer for cleaning assemblies, stencils, tools, PCBs and power
modules.
These
products remove flux from lead-based solder, solder pastes from
stencils, burnt-on flux in soldering machines and ****s, adhesive
residue, thick film pastes and more.
The
cleaning process is often unavoidable, and lays the foundations for
later stages of production by helping to prevent defects e.g. in wire
bonding and moulding chip bonding processes.
It
also allows you to avoid paste printing errors, corrosion,
electrochemical migration and creepage, and prevent recontamination of
assemblies in soldering machines.
